A fast, efficient and high-throughput procedure involving laser micro-dissection and RT droplet digital PCR for specific expression profiling in rice root tissue.
In collaboration with the DARS research team specialized in the study of adaptive development of rice and sorghum, IAGE has developed a method to quantify RNA from a very small amount of cells (about 10 cells or less than 100 fg of RNA). This tool makes it possible to study the expression of gene networks in a localized way, at the scale of a tissue or an organ.
