The vet takes samples in accordance with standard practice (blood, fluid samples, swabs, etc.) and uses the shipping materials provided by IAGE.

1. Identify FIP and FCoV

This pack targets the main genetic markers involved in feline coronavirus infection and FIP.
Main advantage: Non-invasive test (no biopsy) using a swab, blood or effusion sample.
It includes:
- Screening for mutations strongly associated with FIP (Spike M gene)
- Detection of FCoV with quantification of viral load (gene 7b)
- Quantification of subgenomic RNA (gene N), enabling objective assessment of viral replication activity

2. Detecting antibiotic resistance genes

This test kit aims to identify the presence of genes associated with certain bacterial resistance mechanisms.

- Cephalosporins (blaCTX-M / blaCMY)
- Fluoroquinolone (qnrs)
- Vancomycin (VanA)

3. Panbacterial & panfungal analysis

This test kit enables broad-spectrum detection of bacterial and fungal DNA.
It is particularly suitable when:
- Cultures are negative,
- Cultures are slow,
- When the analysed matrix is sterile.

- Broad-spectrum detection of bacterial DNA

4. Giardiasis and Cryptosporidiosis – Molecular detection

This test kit is designed to identify and quantify Giardiasis and Cryptosporidiosis.
Molecular detection makes it possible to identify the presence of these two parasites directly from the sample.
It includes:
- Detection of Giardia lamblia
- Detection of Cryptosporidium spp.
